Volkswagen Taigun Facelift Launched!


Volkswagen have launched the Taigun facelift for Rs 12.92 lakh, and the top variant goes up to Rs 22.67 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This means that you have to pay a slight premium over the Kushaq to own the Taigun. But what do you get for your money?

Volkswagen Taigun Facelift – Features & Specifications


The Taigun is offered with features like –
- Panoramic sunroof
- Larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display
- 10.1-inch infotainment screen
- Electrically-adjustable ORVMs with auto-fold
- Auto-dimming IRVM
- Rear wipers as standard
- Ventilated front seats
- 6-airbags as standard
- Sequential turn indicators
- 6-way powered front seats
While this list may not be as impressive as the rivals’, it makes up for it with the powertrain. You can opt for the following options –
- 1.0-litre TSI (115 bhp & 178 Nm)
- 1.5-litre TSI (150bhp & 250Nm)
And interestingly, it gets 4 gearbox options. The 1.0-litre TSI is offered with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed AT and an all-new 8-speed AT. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre TSI is offered with a sole 7-speed DSG.
