Skoda has showcased the Epiq, a 4.17-m-long electric SUV, internationally. Reports suggest that Skoda will be bringing it to India soon via the CBU route. While it may be a tad bit expensive in India, it will be the most affordable Skoda EV internationally, and here is how it looks.

Skoda Epiq – Front

From the front, it is distinctly a Skoda. You get the signature Skoda grille and slim headlights. The grille serves little to no purpose since it’s an EV, but it still fits in well with the design.

Its dimensions are pretty short as it is a 4.17m long SUV, even shorter than the Kushaq. It features numerous aerodynamic devices, such as cooling shutters, aerodynamic wheels, a rear diffuser, and air curtain channels, to maximise aerodynamic efficiency and, in turn, range. And if you weren’t sure that this is a Skoda, you get Skoda lettering on the C-pillar as well. The overall design is rather simple and understated, rather than rugged or sporty like many other compact and mid-sized SUVs.

At the rear, the black cladding occupies a large portion of the bumper. You can also spot the Skoda lettering prominently on the tailgate. It might be shorter than the Kushaq, but it is substantially wider (by 38mm), which means the rear and boot space are plentiful.

Skoda Epiq – Dashboard

Like with the exterior, the interior is very “Skoda-like”. You get premium materials all across the cabin, with high-quality leather on the dashboard and door panels. The overall essence is minimalist, with a two-spoke steering wheel and a massive 13-inch infotainment screen. It also gets a much smaller digital driver’s display than other Skoda models. But to avoid being overly minimalistic, it also has a row of buttons that control the car’s important functions.

From the images, it looks quite narrow. But you still get 3 headrests along with a centre armrest. You also get a massive panoramic sunroof and decent-sized windows, giving it an airy feel. The mint accents also help liven things up.
