Upcoming Luxury Cars – BMW iX3 LWB

After the success of the iX1 LWB, BMW will be getting the new iX3 but with long wheelbase version that will suit Indian users more. To give you a context, this will not just have rear seat space, it will also have a better range for Indian users, as BMW will offer it with a 2WD option as well. This will mean – that this BMW can easily for 650km on one full charge easily. This is the most revolutionary BMW launched in the last few years, and it will be a game-changer for most premium SUV users. Even if you will like to sit at the back, it will make it very convenient for them to spend a longer time. The BMW will be priced between Rs 75 and 85 lakhs (on-road) and will have the same pricing as the X3 petrol and diesel offerings. This should be launched by the second half of 2026.

Audi Q3

Finally – after a long wait – the new-generation Audi Q3 is coming. The new Audi Q3 will same in size, however it will get a lot more tech, which Audi has been missing out. So, a new Audi UI for the touchscreen and digital cluster. We are also expecting this model to get ADAS and the new LED headlamps, which help with ADAS too. The new Audi Q3 will be offered with only a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine churning about 205bhp of power. This will be the most powerful petrol SUV in this segment now and will come with Quattro tech as well. Pricing to expect is Rs 57-65 lakhs (on-road). The Audi Q3 will be launched around Diwali this year.

Upcoming Luxury Cars – BMW i5 LWB

BMW is making the first move in the sedan space with the i5 electric for India. This will be long wheelbase, will offer a good 600km real life range and a perfect choice for those who get driven around. BMW is looking to add a lot of options for car buyers who are chauffeur-driven. At the moment, there weren’t many options for chauffeur-driven cars for car buyers. At the moment, only Lexus is offering the ES500e right now, and that isn’t even a long wheelbase. This should be towards the end of 2026.

Mercedes S-Class PHEV

Mercedes-Benz is planning to bring the plug-in hybrid version of the S-Class to India. This will be the first time, German car manufacturer will be offering a plug-in hybrid for the Indian car buyers. S-Class recently got a facelift, where new features like a larger touchscreen were introduced and some more changes too. Mercedes is looking to enhance its S-Class dominance by offering the S-Class with this hybrid tech, and we will in the future see more plug-in options from the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer.

Upcoming Luxury Cars – Mercedes GLC EV LWB

Mercedes-Benz is also considering the GLC EV for India in its LWB avatar. It has just been launched in China, and we can expect it to make it here as well. However, what China has got is a 6-seater model; we will get the 5-seater, and it will be made available by early 2027, mostly. The GLC, like the CLA, is based on the new-gen battery tech and will offer 650km of real-life range as per Indian conditions. The GLC EV is likely to be priced at about Rs 80-85 lakhs approx, and this can be an exciting option for many looking at performance, space and range too.
