Royal Enfield is gearing up for one of its most ambitious product cycles yet with new motorcycles and electric vehicles planned across multiple categories
Royal Enfield is preparing one of the most expansive product offensives in its recent history as new ICE motorcycles and zero-emission offerings are under development across different segments and price brackets. Starting with electrics, the Flying Flea sub-brand has already broken ground with the C6, Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle. The S6 scrambler is next in line, expected either later this year or in early 2027.
While it shares the same EV foundation as the C6, the S6 takes a different design direction with scrambler-inspired styling, longer suspension travel and dual-purpose wheels. Claimed range is expected to remain broadly in line with the C6. Going further, Royal Enfield is also developing an electric version of the Himalayan for domestic and international markets.
Stepping into the internal combustion side of things, the 450 cc Sherpa platform has more to offer. A scrambler derivative of the Guerrilla 450 is expected to arrive in 2027 – likely featuring a flatter seat, raised ride height, long travel suspension, knobbly tyres and a distinctive front beak. It would give rise to a properly styled scrambler from RE.

One of the more immediate launches in the pipeline is the Himalayan 440. Taking the Scram 440 as its base, it is expected to be priced in the region of Rs 2.5 lakh ex-showroom. The twin-cylinder range is also set for significant activity. The Bullet 650 which made its global debut at EICMA 2025 is among the most eagerly awaited near term arrivals.
It pairs classic Bullet styling with the proven 648 cc parallel-twin motor producing around 47 bhp and over 52 Nm – backed by a six-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch. A launch in India is expected in the coming months. Separately, updates to the existing 650 twins are also in the works with suspension revisions and possible dual front disc brakes expected later this year for the twins.

At the very top of the range, Royal Enfield is working on an entirely new 750 cc platform. A larger Himalayan is expected to be the first product out of this architecture. A bigger Continental GT is also under development with the current 650 version set to continue alongside it. Limited-run special editions will complement the mainstream launches across the range throughout this period.
