Hyundai Venue Knight Edition Launched!

The Hyundai Venue recently received major updates, including a shift to the safer K1 platform. With this platform, not only has the cabin space improved, but so has the safety, as it received 5 stars in recent BNCAP tests. But that wasn’t enough for Hyundai, as it has now unveiled the Knight edition.

The Knight edition brings aesthetic changes over the standard models. These changes involve a blacked-out front grille, Hyundai badge, skid plates, roof rails, ORVMs and 16-inch alloys. The theme carries over into the cabin, where you get all-black interiors with brass accents and exclusive black seat upholstery.

The Knight edition is available from the HX5 variant up to the top HX10 variant. You have to pay a slight premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000, depending on the variant, over the standard model.

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition – What Else?

Hyundai have also made dashcams more accessible as this feature has become a necessity today. The HX6T, HX10 and N10 (N-line) trims now get these features. Moreover, Hazel Blue Matte and Mystic Sapphire Matte colours have been introduced for the Venue.

As for the features, the Venue gets –

  • Dual 12.3-inch screens
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Level-2 ADAS
  • Powered driver’s seat
  • Ventilated front seats
  • 360-degree camera
  • Wireless charging
  • Dashcam

The Knight edition is offered with all the engine options as the standard Venue. These options include a 1.5-litre diesel, a 1.2-litre NA petrol, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. Interestingly, there is no automatic gearbox offered on the 1.2-litre NA engine, and there is no manual alternative for the 1.0-litre turbo petrol (7-speed DCT as standard). Luckily, the 1.5-litre diesel gets both these options (6-speed MT and 6-speed AT).
