Oben Electric has launched the all-new Rorr Evo at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. However, the aforementioned price is valid for the first 10,000 customers. Later on, it will be available at a price point of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) to the buyers. Oben Rorr Evo bookings have commenced at merely Rs 777/- while test rides and first deliveries are likely to start from June 2026 across the company’s dealership network in the country. For those asking, Oben Electric presently has 150 showrooms nationwide.

Flaunting a naked streetfighter design, Oben Rorr Evo has been offered in four colour options namely Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White. The pure EV brand claims that the electric motorcycle comes with the longest seat of 680mm in its segment while also being the first and only model in its class to come with 10 litres of storage capacity. The single-piece seat has a height of 780mm.

Upfront, the Rorr Evo gets a projector headlamp with a signature front position lamp. Some of the notable design highlights include Sculpted body panels, premium detailing, and a well-balanced silhouette. Oben has introduced a new AI ride mode in the form of SmartIQ for analysing riding patterns in real time and optimising power delivery accordingly to extend range by up to 15 percent.

Oben Rorr Evo is powered by a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack which is believed to offer 50 percent higher heat resistance and 2 times lifecycle compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. The battery comes in a high-strength aluminium casing with a standard warranty of 8 years. The power is supplied by a IP68-rated 9 kW electric motor which has been designed, developed, and manufactured in-house by Oben Electric. It does a 0-40 kmph sprint in only 3 seconds.

The Rorr Evo comes with an IDC range of 180 km on a full charge while clocking a top speed of 110 kmph. The electric motorcycle is compatible with fast charging with a 0-80 percent charge time of just 90 mins via the Oben Plug (fast charger). It is rolled out with an onboard charger too in the form of Oben Port for everyday usage. The Rorr Evo is presented with a single-stage chain drive setup for stronger on-wheel torque delivery.

Most of the prominent components including battery, charger, display and vehicle control systems along with the entire software and firmware stack are developed entirely in-house. The Rorr Evo has a ground clearance of 200 mm while water wading capacity stands at 230 mm. In terms of features, the buyers get dual USB charging ports, reverse mode, Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), Driver Alert System (DAS), 5-inch colour TFT display, providing navigation, ride data, and smart alerts for call, text and music. The riders also have access to ride history, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, and theft protection.
