Well, this is quite a rare sight to see, and many may miss it even if it passes by them. However, the Toyota is actually quite quirky and gimmicky, setting it apart from anything on the road today. We are talking about the Toyota Estima Lucidia, an 8-seater minivan which is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) import. However, what it has to offer is quite out of the box. For instance, the Lucidia gets dual sunroofs, which you can hardly find in cars today. Being a minivan, it has sliding doors. However, stepping inside was more of an occasion thanks to swivel seats in the middle row, which could rotate 360-degrees. We found a 1997 Toyota Estima Lucidia, and it looks to be well-maintained with a price tag of ₹6.5 lakh. But is it worth buying?

Well, buying this as your first or only car may not be the best choice. However, if you want something practical, reliable and most importantly quirky and unique, this could be it. Even though it was introduced in 1997, it has features like dual-zone AC, central locking, driver airbag, powered windows, and much more. Powering the MPV could be a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an automatic transmission. It is unclear whether it is a petrol or a diesel as it hasn’t been mentioned by the seller. Nevertheless, a Toyota engine is extremely reliable – especially on a Japanese-import model. The shocking part is that when it was launched in 1997 in India, it was priced around ₹12 lakh. However, this 29-year-old car has only depreciated by 50% – holding its value quite strongly.
