The 350cc versions of the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure attract 18 percent GST as compared to 40 percent tax on the 399cc models
KTM India has launched the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure with the 350cc engine in the country. KTM 350 Duke and KTM 350 Adventure are priced at Rs 2.77 lakh and Rs 2.81 lakh, respectively, in the Indian market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. The company has made it clear that the existing 390 range of motorcycles will not be discontinued despite the introduction of a relatively cheaper 350cc line-up. KTM has rolled out 350cc versions of the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure in India to enjoy the lower GST benefits of 18 percent.
KTM 350 Adventure Specs
Powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine, KTM 350 Adventure has max power output of 40.9 bhp at 8600 rpm and peak torque performance of 33.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. The suspension duties are helmed by the same USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers. The ground clearance, wheelbase and saddle height remains the same at 230 mm, 1470 mm, and 830 mm.
All the other models namely KTM 390 Adventure S (Rs 3.97 lakh), KTM 390 Adventure X (Rs 3.43 lakh) and KTM 390 Adventure R (Rs 3.78 lakh) continue unchanged. Hence, as visible, the 350cc engine powered Adventure is more than Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the standard model which is equipped with the 399cc engine. In fact, it is even cheaper than the lower-spec X variant by Rs 62,000.

Speaking on the expansion, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said: βThe KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure are among the most aspirational motorcycles in India, and this expansion is about making that aspiration a reality for more riders. The new 350cc engine variants allow us to pass on the 18% GST benefit directly to our customers, lowering the entry price to the range while preserving everything that makes these motorcycles exceptional. This is about growing the 390 community and bringing genuine KTM performance within reach of a much larger audience.β
KTM 350 Duke Specs
The Duke 350 is also powered by the same 349cc engine with identical power and torque figures. The suspension setup, braking system and fuel tank capacity also remain the same as the 399cc LC4 engine powered version. It is nearly Rs 62,000 less expensive than the 399cc version. KTM has initiated this exercise to make the Duke and Adventure range more accessible and affordable for the buyers.

With the launch of the 350 range, KTM has renamed the 390 range with a βRβ suffix. For reference, while the Duke and Adventure bikes powered by the 350cc engine retain the original nomenclature of 390 Duke and 390 Adventure, the 399cc models are called 390 Duke R and 390 Adventure R.
