Upcoming Hyundai Electric SUV – What’s New?

Hyundai has been testing its upcoming electric SUV in India. The model is expected to launch by mid-2027; however, currently, the details of this SUV have not been disclosed. However, looking at its dimensions, we believe that this SUV will be an entry-level electric model in Hyundai’s lineup. It is a sub-4m boxy electric SUV that might be sold alongside the Venue. We expect the model to be based on the Hyundai Inster, sold globally.

While the interior details of the model have not yet been spotted, we expect it to offer several features, including a large infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, sunroof, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ADAS, 360-degree camera and 6-airbags, among others. More details about the interiors are expected to be revealed as we near its launch.

Similar to the interiors, the battery pack details are also under wraps – we expect it to feature battery packs similar to the Hyundai Inster sold globally. It comes with two battery pack options – a 42kWh and a 49kWh. The bigger battery pack is claimed to deliver a 320km range on a single charge.
