While the scooter range showed positive YoY growth, the sales of multiple popular motorcycles such as Raider, Sport and Radeon declined
TVS Motor Company registered a single-digit sales growth of 8 percent in Apr 2026 with 3,48,545 units being sold as compared to 3,23,647 units during the same month last year. However, the MoM sales dropped marginally by 6 percent as the company had retailed 3,72,383 units in March 2026. TVS Jupiter was the top-selling company model as it clocked sales of 1,17,383 units last month. The Apache RTX and 310 twins witnessed the highest demand as the YoY growth stood at 987 percent in Apr 2026.
If we talk about model-wise breakdown, the Jupiter recorded a 14 percent YoY growth. The scooter completely dominated the sales charts, so much so that every third TVS vehicle retailed in Apr 2026 was a Jupiter. The Apache range of motorcycles also continued their positive growth trajectory (YoY growth – 8 percent) with 49,390 units against 45,633 units sold during the same period last year.
The third best-selling TVS was the XL100 with retail volumes of 42,226 units in Apr 2026 with a YoY growth of 9 percent. The company had sold 38,748 units of the moped in Apr 2025. The iQube also posted a healthy YoY growth of 35 percent with sales of 37,193 units last month as compared to 27,604 units in Apr 2025. It remained the top-selling electric two-wheeler in India.

The Ntorq sales also increased from 25,383 units in Apr 2025 to 33,994 units in Apr 2026 with a decent YoY growth of 34 percent. However, three of the brand’s popular motorcycles namely Raider, Sport and Radeon suffered a setback as YoY sales dropped by 32 percent, 30 percent, and 4 percent. The Star City was the worst performing model with sales of merely 1 unit in Apr 2026.
On the other hand, TVS Ronin continued to find more and more buyers as retail volumes jumped to 8,981 units in Apr 2026 from 5,474 units in Apr 2025 with a fantastic YoY growth of 64 percent. It was also the only TVS model to post double-digit MoM growth (11 percent). The Zest sales also surged from 7,904 units in Apr 2025 to 8,822 units in Apr 2026 with a YoY growth of 12 percent.

Last but not the least, the Apache 300 line-up, comprising of the Apache RTX, Apache RR 310, and Apache RTR 310, grew the fastest in Apr 2026 with 1,586 units being sold against 145 units in Apr 2025. It posted YoY growth of nearly 987 percent. The reason behind this sensational growth is the commencement of RTX 300 deliveries all across the country.
