TVS Apache RR 450 Debut Likely at EICMA 2026

The Apache RR 450, the biggest TVS motorcycle till date, is one of the keenly-awaited bike launches taking place later this year in India

TVS Motor Company held the world premiere of the Tangent RR Concept at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Based on the 420cc engine platform of BMW F 450 GS, the concept is likely to spawn the brand’s first motorcycle in the 450 segment, which will be a fully-faired supersports model. Recently, the same was sighted during the test runs but nothing concrete could be established due to the heavy camouflage. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the upcoming TVS Apache RR 450, yet another motorcycle born out of TVS-BMW partnership in India.

TVS Apache RR 450 Launch Date in India

The Apache RR 450 is speculated to break cover at the EICMA 2026 in November. The road testing of the fully-faired motorcycle has already begun in India and since the Milan Motorcycle Show is more than 6 months away, we expect TVS to showcase at least the pre-production model of the Apache RR 450. It could be unveiled in India at the MotoSoul 2026 in Dec while eventually going on sale by early 2027 in our market.

TVS Apache RR 450 Price in India

Since the Apache RR 450 will share multiple components with the BMW F 450 GS including the platform and engine, it is likely to be sold at a premium price tag of around Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom). TVS will certainly work on higher localization in order to achieve an aggressive pricing to take on the likes of other fully-faired twin-cylinder motorcycles in India such as the Aprilia RS 457 and Kawasaki Ninja 500.

TVS Apache RR 450 Design

The Tangent RR Concept was presented with a monocoque subframe while notable design elements included sculpted fuel tank, USD front suspension, low-set clip-on handlebars, dual-LED headlamps, an under-seat exhaust pipe and side winglets. Just a couple of months back, the design patent for the Apache RR 450 was filed in India. The patent images revealed that most styling elements have been retained from the Tangent RR concept.

TVS Apache RR 450 Features

There is no information available on the feature list of the upcoming Apache RR 450 in public domain. However, we expect the fully-faired motorcycle to be full of premium and upmarket equipment in the form of multiple ride modes, traction control, dual-channel ABS, all-digital instrument panel with TFT display and turn-by-turn navigation. The stopping power is expected to come from dual disc units at front and a single disc at rear.

TVS Apache RR 450 Engine Specs

Tipping the weighing scale between 175-180 kg, TVS Apache RR 450 will be equipped with the same 420cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with power output of 47 bhp and torque delivery of 43 Nm. The engine will be coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The Apache RR 450 will become the flagship TVS motorcycle upon its launch while positioned above the Apache RR 310.
