JSW Jetour T2 – Powertrain

The Jetour T2 is expected to be offered as a PHEV (plug-in hybrid), making it one of the most affordable PHEVs on the market. The hybrid system is expected to be mated to a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 26.7kWh battery pack and an AWD drivetrain. JSW Jetour T2 – Expected Pricing

JSW is targeting the Rs 15-30 lakh segment, and many people assumed that the Jetour T2 would also be launched at a similiar price. But that’s not the case. It will be priced higher at around Rs 38 – 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Other upcoming JSW models will be priced between the promised price range. Such pricing would mean that the T2 will compete against the Fortuner, Kodiaq and the Meridian. But more importantly, if JSW launch it at this price, it would be the most affordable PHEV in the country.
