Tata has launched the Altroz CNG with Automatic gearbox option, with prices starting from Rs 9.87 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Before the Altroz, other 3 cars already had the CNG AMT option, including the Tata Tiago, Tata Tigor and Tata Altroz – with Tata Tigor being the most affordable car with CNG AMT.
The Altroz CNG AMT is available in 5 variants, with prices as follows:

The CNG version of the Altroz comes with the same dual-cylinder setup, with the CNG tanks placed inside the boot, to leverage the boot space. The Tata Altroz is also the only hatchback in the country that is offered with a diesel engine alongside petrol and CNG powertrain. Now, the CNG AMT option. Currently, the demand for CNGs has been increasing and offering an AMT gearbox with the CNG is expected to drive the sales of Altroz further.

Apart from the CNG AMT version, the Altroz doesn’t witness any changes from powertrain to features, everything is the same as before.
