Ultraviolette is likely to make an official statement regarding the delivery schedule before the end of this month, sources told us.
Ultraviolette Tesseract was unveiled in Mar 2025 amidst much fanfare as the brand’s first electric scooter with ADAS tech in the Indian market. The bookings had also commenced more than a year back at a token payment of Rs 999/- on the company’s official website. The first deliveries were supposed to begin from early 2026 as the final variant selection and configuration were supposed to go live on the website from Q4 2025. However, for reasons best known to Ultraviolette, the deliveries are facing a massive delay and could commence only from Q3 2026.
Branded as the ‘World’s first electric scooter with integrated radar, dashcam and omnisense mirrors’, Ultraviolette Tesseract gets three battery pack options in the form of 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh and 6 kWh with range of 162 km, 220 km, and 261 km, respectively. While the 3.5 kWh battery pack is coupled with an electric motor of 13.4 bhp top power, the 5 kWh and 6 kWh batteries are paired with an electric motor which generates peak power output of 20.1 bhp.
Ultraviolette Tesseract is available in four colour options namely Sunburst Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White. It was introduced at a price of Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 buyers, while for the next 50,000 customers, it was Rs 1.30 lakh, followed by the final pricing of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). It surged past 50,000 pre-bookings within two weeks of debut.

Some of the notable highlights of the electric scooter are Under-seat storage of 34 litres, 14-inch wheels, Fast charge in less than an hour and Dual projector lights with floating DRLs. The inclusion of ADAS tech ensures advanced safety features such as Blindspot Detection, Lane Change, Overtaking Assist, and real-time Collision Alerts. A special mention goes to the 7-inch touchscreen TFT display.
It is also equipped with Traction control and Dynamic regen as standard. The Tesseract e-scooter is integrated with VIOLETTE A.I. which brings multiple advanced connectivity features in the form of Advanced Ride Analytics, Movement, Fall and Towing Alerts, Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, Daily Ride Stats, and an Anti-Collision Warning System.

Ultraviolette Tesseract will directly rival Ola S1 Pro Sport which is offered in two variants with 4 kWh and 5.2 kWh battery packs at price points of Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.65 lakh, respectively. The S1 Pro Sport deliveries were also promised from Q2 2026 but as of now, the official Ola website has not listed it for sales and hence delivery timeline is not known.
