New-Gen Hyundai Tucson Interior Leaked!
The Tucson was discontinued quite some time ago, but Hyundai haven’t given up on this project yet. It is one of the best-selling models in global markets, and Hyundai is expected to try to replicate this success in India as well. And with spy shots of the next-gen Tucson’s interior surfacing online, we can take a look at how the Indian-spec model will feel on the inside. This test mule has been spotted in Korea, and here are some key details that we can spot.
Firstly, the next-gen Tucson will use Hyundai’s new 17-inch PLEOS infotainment screen. The next-gen Creta is also expected to use Hyundai’s new PLEOS infotainment system. What’s special about this system is that its OTA updates include changes to not only the software, but also to other components like the suspension. It also sports a slim 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster. Hyundai will be using a similiar cabin layout for most of its upcoming models. Some other key details we can spot include the steering-mounted gear selector, boss mode for the co-driver’s seat, and physical buttons for climate and audio controls. Furthermore, the steering wheel now gets the new 4-dot logo and plenty of physical buttons.

New-Gen Hyundai Tucson – What Else?
Some of the other features we can expect with the next-gen Tucson include –
- Powered tailgate
- Level-2 ADAS
- Ventilated front seats with memory function
- Panoramic sunroof
- Wireless charging
- 360-degree camera
As for the powertrain, it is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. And if the market demands it, Hyundai could also offer it with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Moreover, earlier generations of the Tucson had an AWD drivetrain, and it is expected to continue with the next-gen model.

New-Gen Hyundai Tucson – Expected Pricing & Launch
The Tucson is expected to be priced between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 40 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). It won’t be cheap, but it will be quite a premium SUV with plenty of features and luxuries to justify the hefty price tag. Moreover, rumours suggest that Hyundai is working on a 7-seater version of the Tucson as well.
We can expect Tucson in India by mid-2027. It is expected to be one of the 26 models Hyundai plans to introduce before 2030. The last-generation of the Tucson couldn’t quite capture the Indian market, and Hyundai would hope for better results this time around.
