Royal Enfield Announces 2026 Himalayan Odyssey

For the very first time, Himalayan Odyssey will unfold across four routes – Original Odyssey, Explore Circuit, Nubra Circuit and the Kargil Circuit

Royal Enfield has announced the 22nd edition of its marque ride programme, the Himalayan Odyssey, in India. The brand claims that it is the most inclusive edition of the Odyssey in Ladakh as for the very first time, it will unfold across four routes – Original Odyssey, Explore Circuit, Nubra Circuit and the Kargil Circuit. The registrations for the same can be done on the official website of Royal Enfield. The Himalayan Odyssey has a mantra which reads, β€œLeave as a Rider, Return an an Explorer” as the iconic ride programme has been going on for over two decades.

Beginning with the Himalayan Odyssey Original – The Legendary Mile, it will be a 16-day expedition held between June 25, 2026 – July 10, 2026. The ride will commence and culminate in Chandigarh as it passes through Himachal, Zanskar, and Ladakh. Spanning over 2,200 kilometres, it will traverse some of the highest motorable passes in the world, including the Khardung La and Umling La.

Talking about the Himalayan Odyssey Explore – Beyond the Edge of the Map, it will be relatively shorter with a duration of 11 days between June 26, 2026 – July 5 2026. With limited support and self-carried gear, riders will navigate harsher terrain and make decisions that shape their own path. Royal Enfield states that the Himalayan Odyssey is not just about reaching the highest passes. It is about discovering what lies beyond them and within.

As for the Himalayan Odyssey Kargil Circuit and Nubra Circuit – The Soul of the Himalayas, these will be the shortest ride programmes with a duration of only 8 days between June 29, 2026 – July 5, 2026. Beginning in Leh, the Satellite edition unfolds across two distinct journeys β€” The Frontier & The Sands and History & Heritage β€”each offering a different window into the region.

At its core, Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey has always been guided by the simple belief that the places we ride through must be left better than we found them. In 2026, Royal Enfield continues its commitment to responsible travel through its #LeaveEveryPlaceBetter initiative, focusing on conscious riding practices, reducing environmental impact, and supporting the communities that make these journeys possible.
