The Japanese brand introduced the Gravite in February 2026 and confirmed the launch of a CNG version to cater to buyers seeking better fuel economy. The CNG is a retrofit kit for the Gravite, introduced at a price tag of Rs 82,999. What’s more interesting is that the Gravite CNG gets not one but two CNG cylinders, offering a combined CNG capacity of 25 litres. With the purchase of the CNG retrofit kit, the buyers will be offered a 3-year/1 lakh kilometres warranty for the CNG components. Existing owners can choose to get this fitted to their Gravite in 60 cities and 16 different states. Nissan has tried to improve space in the third row with this type of CNG setup, maximising comfort for all rows. Apart from the new CNG setup, what does the Gravite have to offer?

What Else?

Gravite Gravite

The Nissan Gravite is the cheapest 7-seater in India. However, it still has a good number of features. Features include an 8-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch instrument cluster, rear camera, a cooled glove box, ambient lighting, an air purifier, a premium JBL sound system and much more. Powering the MPV is a 1.0-litre NA petrol engine producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. The MPV carries a price tag ranging from Rs 6.77 lakh to Rs 10.63 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With the CNG option, we can expect a fuel economy of around 20-22kmpl. One key highlight for us is that having this CNG option will compromise the boot space majorly. That said, the Gravite CNG does focus more on third-row comfort. So, would you choose the Gravite CNG?
