RE Himalayan 750 Launch – What’s The Update?

The classic two-wheeler maker was tight-lipped on saying anything about the Himalayan 750. The adventure bike is still in its testing phase – will be taking some more time to be available for bookings. We expect it to be launched by the end of next year, or by early 2027 – obviously, RE shouldn’t take too long.

Even though the brand didn’t talk much about this motorcycle, it was still present at the show – watching from a corner. It can be easily differentiated from the current model – equipping a 750cc parallel-twin engine, the one it will debut with. It is a new engine with increased bore and stroke than the 650cc. The specification details are not revealed, but we expect the engine to produce around 55bhp and 62Nm.

The Himi 750 will be running on a new chassis and a new subframe. The design seems not to be finalized as there might be some more changes RE might plan for this ADV. But, we can easily spot the bulkier fuel faux and a taller windscreen. The exhaust barrel is taken from the old 411 Himalayan, but it might be changed in the final design. The suspension setup is also new, so expect it to glide away on bad road patches. Braking duties are handled by twin front discs and a single rear disc.

Pricing

Its too early to speculate the pricing, but we expect with a larger engine capacity the model to be priced between Rs 5 lakh and 5.6 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Yes, a specific colour will want you to pay a premium price – typical RE behaviour.
