In March, things get interesting in the car market. Dealers aren’t just selling anymore, they’re clearing. The biggest talking point is the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Discounts rise as high as ₹5.05 lakh, mainly on MY2025 stock. That’s not something you usually see on a premium EV sitting in the ₹40–50 lakh bracket. This wasn’t just a festive offer or a token benefit. It clearly felt like Hyundai making space before more competition enters the segment. For buyers, though, it meant one thing: a seriously capable global EV suddenly became a lot more accessible. The vehicle has a 73kWh battery, 215 bhp, and 350 Nm of torque. The features list includes dual 12.3-inch screens, ventilated and heated seats, a panoramic roof, ADAS, and a 360-degree camera. Before the discounts, the Ionic 5 was priced at around ₹50-55 Lakh (on-road in Mumbai) for the MY2025 model.

The Skoda Kodiaq followed closely, with benefits totalling over ₹5 lakh, especially on the Sportline variant. And that says a lot. The focus here is clearly on buyers who want performance along with practicality. Skoda didn’t just stop at cash discounts either. Exchange offers and loyalty benefits were layered on top, making the deal more attractive for both new customers and existing Skoda owners considering an upgrade. The Kodiaq has a 2.0L TSI petrol engine with 201 bhp and 320 Nm of Torque and comes with AWD. The feature list includes panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control, massage seats(front), 360-degree camera and 9 airbags. Before Discounts, the Skoda Kodiaq is priced between ₹47 lakh and ₹ 56 lakh (on-road in Mumbai), depending on the variant.

With the Volkswagen Tiguan R-line, the strategy was simple and effective. Put a big number right on the table. Discounts of around ₹4.5 lakh made a noticeable difference to the final price. On top of that, Volkswagen added loyalty benefits depending on how long you’ve been with the brand. It’s a smart balance. New buyers still get a strong deal, while existing customers feel valued enough to stick around. The Tiguan comes with a 2-litre TSI petrol engine producing 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with adaptive suspension, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and massage seats, ADAS suite, ambient lighting, park assist and remote parking. Before discounts, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-line is priced between ₹53.73 lakh and ₹54.53 lakh on-road in Mumbai.

Mahindra took a more aggressive approach with the XUV400 Pro. Discounts went up to ₹4 lakh, mainly on MY2025 EL Pro variants. This clearly looks like a stock clearance move. With newer EVs entering the scene, Mahindra needed to make room, and pricing was the quickest lever to pull. For buyers, though, this created a sweet spot. A practical electric SUV with decent range suddenly started looking like a value buy.  The vehicle has a 34.5 kWh battery, 148 bhp, and 310 Nm of torque. Key features include a 10.25-inch infotainment/digital cluster, wireless Android Auto/CarPlay, 6 airbags, and connected-car tech. Before discounts, the Mahindra XUV400 Pro was priced between ₹17-22 Lakh (on-road in Mumbai), depending on the variant.

The Tata Curvv EV is still fresh on the market, but the offers suggest Tata wants momentum right from the start. A ₹3 lakh Green Bonus, along with other benefits, pushed total savings close to ₹3.8 lakh. What’s interesting here is how the deal is structured. It’s not one big flashy discount, but a mix of smaller benefits that quietly add up. That approach keeps the pricing attractive without making it look like a distress sale. The Tata Curvv EV has a 45kWh battery, 148 bhp, and 215 Nm of torque. On the features side, there is a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and connected-car tech. Before discounts, the Tata Curvv EV is priced between ₹20 lakh and ₹ 26 lakh (on-road in Mumbai), depending on the variant.
