Revised Front-end

At the front, both the ICE and EV versions get major revisions. You get sleeker LED headlight on both the powertrains. But what sets both the variants apart is the front grille and bumper. The ICE model gets a closed-off, gloss-black front grille with a traditional lower front bumper. The fog lamps are well concealed within the bumper, so it may take you some time to spot them.

As for the EV, it features a more quirky look. The body-coloured closed front end adds to its hatchback appeal. Interestingly, while the ICE version gets fog lamps, the EV misses out. At the front, we can spot a camera, suggesting the Tiago will get a 360-degree camera. The 360-degree camera has become a necessity for urban driving, and with this introduction, the Tiago could be one of the cheapest cars to offer such an important feature. It is also expected to get other features, such as a fully digital driver’s display and wireless charger.

Updated Rear

At the rear, the Tiago now gets connected taillights like those on other Tata models. The EV and ICE are identical at the rear, making it difficult to differentiate between them if it weren’t for the Tiago.ev lettering and the green number plate. Overall, Tata has livened up the Tiago with these aesthetic updates. The outgoing model looks quite modest, and with the new-gen, it has turned it into a chic and quirky city car.

New Alloys and Colours

You can spot the newer diamond-cut alloys for the petrol version and aero wheels on the EV. The alloys are only expected to be offered on the top variants. Except for the newer alloy wheels, the side profile looks quite similiar to its predecessor.
The Tiago was displayed in two new colour options – mint green and coral orange. These aren’t the official names, and we expect the actual colour options to be revealed on the 28th of May.
