Honda City Facelift Fully Revealed Before Its Launch!

The Honda City is one of the most iconic models in the automotive market. But with the rise in SUV demand, its sales have faltered. But now Honda will be looking to boost its sales with a facelift. Moreover, the City facelift has been completely revealed before its launch.

Honda City Facelift Spotted!

When the City facelift was first spotted, it created quite a buzz for its looks. But back then, only the front end could be seen. And now, in these recent spy shots, the City facelift has been fully revealed, showing some key updates before its launch on May 22nd.

With the facelift, Honda has given the City a more aggressive look, featuring a blacked-out grille and a sporty front bumper. At the rear, the changes are more subtle as the taillights and rear bumper have been tweaked. If you look closely on the inside, you can also spot a newer infotainment display.

Honda City Facelift – What Else?

With the facelift, we expect it to get features like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen (also used in Elevate), Level-1 ADAS, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, TPMS, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, etc. From these spyshots, we can spot that the facelift uses a similar analogue display as the outgoing model. Moreover, it also misses out on a panoramic sunroof.

As for the powertrain, no changes are expected. It could continue to offer the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine with a 6-speed manual and a CVT as transmission options. While the HEV version may not be very popular, Honda will continue to offer it with the facelift.

We expect its pricing to get a Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh hike due to the updates, and it could now be priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
