Tata Punch Flex Fuel

At present, the brand has not specified which model will come first; however, we expect it to be the Tata Punch flex-fuel model. It was showcased back at Bharat Mobility Auto Show in 2024. The major highlight of the flex fuel version was its 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 86 bhp and 115 Nm. This engine can run on an E100 blend, making it more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. Alongside the flex-fuel engine, the model will be available with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, and an iCNG version.

While Nitin Gadkari-led MoRTH is looking to increase the ethanol blending to more than 20%, this move can help Tata to increase its market share. Apart from the flex-fuel engine, the model is unlikely to receive any changes to the exterior or interior. That said, the same features will carry over to the flex-fuel model. It includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch instrument cluster, a wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, Auto AC, and more.
Talking about the pricing, the flex fuel version of the Tata Punch is expected to see a price hike of around Rs 1 lakh, depending on the variant.
