Honda City Facelift Spotted – What’s New?

The updated City was expected to get some cosmetic changes; however, recent spy shots show the model sporting some serious exterior changes. This Honda sedan now draws its styling inspiration from global models, featuring a sharper, cleaner front fascia. Upfront, it gets a redesigned LED headlamp setup with integrated LED DRLs, a new ‘H’ logo on the bonnet, and a revised mesh-type grille. Along with that it gets a redesigned lower bumper too. While the spy shots reveal only the front, we expect the model to get a new taillamp setup at the rear, along with new alloy wheels. Apart from that, the conventional door handles will be carried over from the outgoing model.
Another highlight that is visible in the spyshot is the new infotainment touchscreen that pops out of the dashboard. While it could be the 10.25-inch unit available on the Elevate, it is also possible that this infotainment system is all-new. Apart from that, we expect the model to get a 360-degree camera. Safety features on the model include 6 airbags, ADAS, TPMS, and others. The facelift could see some more additions.

The updated Honda City is unlikely to see any changes under the hood. That said, it will continue with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine producing 118bhp and 145Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox option.
