The 5 upcoming Royal Enfield bikes launching in 2026-27 in India include ICE-powered models as well as EVs
Royal Enfield recently launched its first electric motorcycle under the Flying Flea badging in the Indian market. On the sidelines of the launch, B. Govindarajan, MD & CEO of Royal Enfield, confirmed that the company has a strong pipeline of electric two-wheelers that will be launched at a later stage in India. Apart from EVs, the brand will introduce several ICE-powered models, including the bigger 750cc motorcycles. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the 5 new Royal Enfield bikes launching in 2026-27 in India.
1. Flying Flea S6
The electric scrambler motorcycle is confirmed to launch by the end of 2026 in the Indian market. Showcased at the Motoverse 2025 in Goa, it will share the platform, battery pack and electric motor with the Flying Flea C6. However, sticking to its scrambler character, it has been developed for all-terrain riding unlike the C6 which has been presented for urban mobility.
In Jan 2026, the design patent for the Flying Flea S6 was filed in India. Some of the notable elements in the all-electric scrambler bike include 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres, enduro-style seat, chain final drive setup, lean-angle sensing ABS, switchable dual-channel ABS, off-road mode, cruise control, integrated navigation, keyless ride, ride modes, charging status, OTA updates and traction control.
2. Royal Enfield Bullet 650
The Bullet 650 had its global premiere at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. Later, it made the first public appearance in India at the 2025 Motoverse. The Bullet 650 is Royal Enfield’s seventh motorcycle in the 650cc segment after the Interceptor, Continental GT, Shotgun, Bear, Super Meteor and Classic. The bike shares multiple elements with the Classic 650 including the steel tubular spine frame. It is likely to launch by mid 2026 in India.
Royal Enfield Bullet 650 will be available in two colours namely Canon Black and Battleship Blue. Riding on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, it gets the signature casquette-mounted LED headlamps with twin “tiger-eye” pilot lamps, teardrop fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, and single-step up bench seat. At the heart, the Bullet 650 will have the same 648cc parallel-twin petrol engine which belts out 46.4 bhp and 52.3 Nm, linked to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
3. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
Royal Enfield presented a pre-production prototype of the Himalayan 750 at the EICMA 2025. B. Govindarajan had told the media that the adventure motorcycle needs more time for testing and hence, it will only be ready by EICMA 2026. Last year, the top leadership team of Royal Enfield, including CEO & MD Govindarajan, were spotted riding the Himalayan 750 in Ladakh as part of the motorcycle’s high-altitude cold-weather testing programme.
The prototype showcased at the EICMA 2025 was packed with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust, and front windscreen. It will be powered by a 750cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled petrol engine which is likely to be developed from the existing 650cc parallel-twin mill, which does duties to the entire 650 range of motorcycles.
4. Royal Enfield Continental GT 750
We saw the race-spec model of the Continental GT-R 750 at the EICMA 2025. Touted as the brand’s first 750cc motorcycle to launch globally, it was spied undisguised near the brand’s factory in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in March 2026. The cafe-racer was flaunting an all-black colour scheme with styling identical to the Continental GT 650. We can expect the cafe-racer motorcycle to go on sale by the end of 2026 in India.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 will get adjustable telescopic front forks and gas-charged rear twin shock absorbers. The stopping power will come from dual disc brakes at front, which will be a first for any Royal Enfield bike till date. The test mule appeared to be riding on 17-inch alloy wheels which could be shared with the GT 650. Identical to the Himalayan 750, it will house a 750cc parallel-twin air/oil-cooled petrol engine which will be developed from the existing 650cc engine.
5. Royal Enfield Interceptor 750
There is no word on the Interceptor 750 for more than a year now, as it was last captured on camera in Jan 2025. However, we believe that Royal Enfield is quietly readying the modern-retro bike with a 750cc engine. The spy images revealed that most elements have been retained from the 650cc model such as round LED headlamp, tear-drop shaped fuel tank and side panels. However, the tail section has been redesigned to maintain its uniqueness and individuality.
The Interceptor 750 will carry dual exhaust pipes and a new dual front disc brake setup. At the heart, it will have the same 750cc parallel-twin air/oil-cooled petrol engine as the other 750cc models from Royal Enfield. The power output could be in the ballpark of 50-55 bhp. The launch timeline is not in public domain but we expect the Interceptor 750 to debut sometime in 2027.
