The first thing that was spotted is the presence of triple-screen setup, the unit we saw already on the XEV 9e and will now possibly make its way on the XUV700 facelift. Along with that, the model equips the two-spoke steering wheel – similar to the XEV 9e, but instead of the infiniti logo, it can boast the Mahindra’s twin peak logo. The vents too are redesigned. Along with that, the dashboard is eventually similar to the electric models. So, we can expect the AR Head-Up Display too on offer.

Some other additions expected are the Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atoms, Auto-dimming IRVM and others. The interiors are cluttered with wires and camouflage, however, the upgraded interior gives a more premium appeal from what we can see.

What Else?

The model will see some revisions on the exteriors. Some expected changes include a new grille, revised headlamp and taillamp setup – a connected taillamp unit is very unlikely to be offered, revised bumper, circular fog lamps, new alloys and more in its package. That said, on the outside, the changes will be very limited. While its interiors will get a bit premium.

Moreover, with this update, Mahindra might also call the XUV700 as XUV7XO. As it did with the XUV300 lately.

Talking about the powertrain, expect the model to retain the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine (197bhp & 380Nm) & 2.2-litre diesel engine (182bhp & 450Nm) to do the duty. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT gearbox.
