Used Car – Tata Nano

At one point in time, the Tata Nano was one of India’s favourite cars, offering the most bang for buck proposition. The Nano was courtesy of Ratan Tata’s initiative to offer the most affordable car in India, accessible to a huge number of buyers. Even today, this is one of the most value-for-money offerings. We came across a 2010 Tata Nano priced at Rs 25,000 only. For a car, this amount is ridiculously low. So, if someone wants a vehicle just to commute around the city, the Nano is a tiny car that is easy to manoeuvre and fit through tight spaces in traffic.
However, being a 15-year-old car, it will likely have a few issues, and the model is not in the best condition. However, for a mere Rs 25,000, it might still be a worthy buy. It gets all the essential features like air conditioning, front power windows, and a few more. Some can use it solely for short city runs, while enthusiasts can have it as a project car.

What Else?

However, it is important to note that being a 15-year-old car, it will probably have a few issues and niggles. If you do check the car out properly before purchasing and actually find it in average condition, you might just get your money’s worth out of it. Owners suggest the Nano can deliver up to 20kmpl mileage, which is quite impressive. And, it can seat four people, best for city commutes with your colleagues. Powering the Tata Nano is a 624cc twin-cylinder engine producing 35bhp and 48Nm of torque along with a 4-speed MT.
So, at Rs 25,000, would you buy this Tata Nano?
