One of the key details of the new Mahindra 7-seater SUV is its design, but the brand has yet to showcase the production-ready model. But worry not, we know what it will look like! The front profile will be heavily inspired by the XEV 9e with details like connected LED DRLs, a closed grille & a butch stance overall. The side profile will have a silhouette of the XUV700 – but with a different set of alloy wheels. Even the rear profile, for that matter, will be similar to the XUV700. A recent teaser showcases an XUV700-like taillamp design with no connected treatment expected!

More Than A Luxurious XUV700

The interior is something that will make you fall in love with the SUV! Just imagine – XUV700 with the interior of XEV 9e. Sounds interesting, right? Well, that’s exactly what we can expect for the XEV 9S. A refreshed dashboard design, which will be dominated by a triple-screen layout. Also, the steering wheel – it will be a 2-spoke unit which will have an illuminated Infiniti logo, similar to the 9e. What also could be shared with the XEV 9e is the feature list!

You had complaints with the XUV700 that it lacks features, right? Well, here is the XEV 9S to offer more than your imagination. So, expect features like – three 12.3-inch screens, Level 2+ ADAS, powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof with Mahindra’s signature light effects, auto parking, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, adaptive suspension setup for superior ride quality and a lot more!

Range, Everyday, Race – Upcoming Mahindra 7-Seater Details

Confused with the heading? Well, these are a few of the expected driving modes that are expected with the XEV 9S. These drive modes will allow you to alter the power delivery of the extremely powerful electric motors according to your driving mood! Talking of which, the XEV 9S is expected to come with the same battery pack options as the XEV 9e. These include – a 59kWh battery pack & a 79kWh battery pack. Among these, the smaller battery pack comes with motor producing 228bhp & 380Nm with a claimed range of 542km. On the other hand, the larger battery comes with motor producing 282bhp & 380Nm with a claimed range of 656km. That said, it will be interesting to see if Mahindra offers a dual-motor setup for the XEV 9S – enabling the AWD capabilities.

Upcoming Mahindra 7-Seater Details – Pricing 

Pricing will be one of the key factors of the XEV 9S. The SUV looks promising with all the expected features & equipment it has to offer. Currently, the XEV 9e is priced between Rs 23.18 lakh & Rs 33.30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). For the XEV 9S, the base model could be priced similar to the XEV 9e – however, the top model could be slightly premium.
