Maruti offers basic features like a 7-inch touchscreen, steering-mounted controls, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and much more. The WagonR gets 2 engine options: a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.0-litre NA petrol engine with a CNG option. 3. Maruti Ertiga – Best-Selling Cars In October

For many years, the best-selling 7-seater in India has been the Maruti Ertiga. The Ertiga is a practical, fuel-efficient and reliable MPV which offers great value for money. In October 2025, the Ertiga registered 20,087 units. The 7-seater is popular for its impressive fuel-economy figures and people-hauling capabilities. Powering the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, which is also offered with a CNG option. Priced between Rs 7.38 Lakh and Rs 10.93 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), this is one of the best value-for-money Maruti cars on sale.

1. Tata Nexon – Best-Selling Cars In October

Not only is the Nexon the best-selling SUV, but it is also the best-selling car in India for the past two months. Amounting to 22,083 units, the Nexon has proven to be the go-to choice in its segment. Tata offers a plethora of engine options as well as electric powertrains, allowing for a wider range of options for buyers. The Nexon gets features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, an ADAS suite and the list goes on. With a price tag ranging from Rs 8.44 Lakh to Rs 17.06 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), the Nexon has proven to be the best all-around car in India as of now.
