To take on the likes of Innova Crysta, Mahindra had launched the Marazzo! A big 7-seater MPV from Mahindra that offered ample cabin space. However, it could never make its impact against the Crysta or the Ertiga. That said, for November 2025, Mahindra is selling the Marazzo at a massive discount of Rs 4.50 lakh! And yes, the discount is available on all the variants of the Marazzo. As of now, the spacious 7-seater is priced between Rs 16.95 lakh & Rs 19.75 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

What Went Wrong?

Mahindra Marazzo gained popularity for its XL-size dimensions. With a wheelbase of 2,750mm, the Marazzo was a spacious car. So what exactly went wrong for Mahindra? Well, one reason could be the lack of an automatic gearbox option. The model was always offered with a sole 1.5-litre diesel engine, which never came with an option for an automatic gearbox – unlike its rivals. Additionally, the Marazzo had inherent ergonomic issues that can be cumbersome during its ownership. For example, the rear door pockets are inaccessible when the doors are shut, and the front USB charge is hard to reach.

Mahindra November Discount – Worth Buying Today?

A massive discount of Rs 4.50 lakh may attract some buyers – given the road presence of the car! Along with that, the Marazzo has an excellent ride quality as it was one of the cars to come with a ladder-on-frame & monocoque – hybrid platform. What was also impressive about the Marazzo is the silent cabin experience. The NVH levels were better than the competitors. And finally, it was one of the few cars at the time to score a 4-star safety rating at the Global NCAP! Overall, the Marazzo had some pros but could not survive against the rivals like the Innova Crysta & the Maruti Ertiga. So, if you are interested in buying an XL-size MPV with a manual gearbox, the Marazzo might be a good choice for you – given the ongoing discount offer!
