Kia has reportedly been working on the new-gen Seltos. The model was previously spotted testing — the only thing unknown was its launch timeline. However, now some industry rumours suggest the launch of the new-gen model might be around the corner.

Kia Seltos Launch – Confirmed?

Industry rumours suggest Kia might not delay the launch of its new-gen Seltos. By far, it can be revealed by the end of this year — say, by December. At the same time, its price reveal can happen sometime by the start of 2026. Now, it’s not officially declared, but this information comes from some insiders. 

It’s early to speculate its pricing, but in its new avatar – we expect the model to get a hike of Rs 1,00,000 maximum on its top variant.

About the New-Gen Seltos

The upcoming new-gen Kia Seltos will receive a complete overhaul in terms of design, features and cabin settings. It is also expected to be longer than the current model – it will free up more space inside. Exact dimension details have not yet been shared by the brand, so we will need to wait a bit. 

On the outside, the model will feature a new design with headlamps & taillamps, a grille, new alloys, redesigned bumpers, and more. Even there will be several changes in the interiors. With the new-gen model, we expect Kia to offer several new features borrowed from the Syros SUV. Some features expected to be offered include a Trinity display screen, sliding and reclining rear seats, a ventilation option for all seats, wireless charging, Level 2 ADAS, and more.

While many suggested that Kia might introduce the hybrid setup with the new-gen Seltos. But, at present, it seems that Kia could continue with the exact mechanical details. Currently, it comes with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine & a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. More information about the model is expected to be revealed in the coming time as we near its launch.
