Earlier this year, Volkswagen launched the Tiguan R-Line in India. The 5-seater Fortuner rival is currently priced at Rs 58.51 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Having said that, the Fortuner’s dominance has forced VW to offer a massive discount of up to Rs 3 lakh on the Taigun R-Line. The offer includes a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh, a loyalty bonus of Rs 50,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. So, will offering a discount help Volkswagen sell the Tiguan R Line?
