Hyundai Venue Variants Explained!
Hyundai has taken the wraps off its new Venue, revealing a more spacious and premium offering than before. With a price tag ranging from Rs 9.27 Lakh to Rs 18.93 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), the Venue is available in 8 variants: HX 2, HX 4, HX 5, HX 6, HX 6T, HX 7, HX 8 and HX 10. The new Venue continues to offer the same 3 engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. However, the new model gets an AT gearbox option for the diesel. So, here are all the features, tech and engine options available on each variant!

1. HX 2


The HX 2 is the base variant of the Venue, which is offered with all three engine options. However, all the engine options are only available with manual transmissions. Priced between Rs 9.27 Lakh to Rs 11.57 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), the HX2 variant gets features like:
- 6 airbags
- Rear parking sensors
- 15-inch steel wheels (1.2-litre NA petrol only)
- 16-inch dual-tone steel wheels (1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel only)
- LED headlights and taillights
- 10.25-inch touchscreen
- 10.66-inch instrument cluster
- All Black interior
- Manual AC
- Rear AC vents
- Front & rear power windows
- Electrically Adjustable ORVMs
- Front and rear speakers

2. HX 4 – Hyundai Venue Variants
The HX 4 variant in the venue is only available with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, with an MT only, with the other two engine options unavailable. This variant is priced at Rs 10.34 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The features mentioned below are in addition to the HX 2 variant:
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
- Rear view camera with guidelines
- ORVM-mounted indicators
- Dual-tone grey interior
- Electric folding ORVMs
3. HX 5


Venue’s HX 5 variant is the only one that is available with all the different transmission options (MT, AT & DCT) for the 3 engines. This variant carries a price tag ranging from Rs 10.74 Lakh to Rs 14.01 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The features mentioned below are in addition to the HX 4 variant:
- Manually height-adjustable driver seat
- Smart electric sunroof
- Paddle shifters (DCT/AT only)
- Cruise control (1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel only)
- Smart key with push button start (Both petrol only)
- Auto-fold ORVMs (Both petrol only)
- Remote engine start with smart key (1.0-litre turbo petrol only)
- Driver console armrest with storage (DCT/AT only)

4.& 5. HX 6 & HX 6T – Hyundai Venue Variants
The HX 6 variant is the mid-variant of the Venue, priced between Rs 12.42 Lakh and Rs 14.37 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This variant gets both the petrol engine options, but misses out on the diesel variant. Also, the turbo petrol engine is only available with DCT. The HX 6T variant sits just above the HX 6 variant and is only available with the 1.2-litre petrol engine with MT. This variant carries a price tag ranging from Rs 12.74 Lakh to Rs 12.96 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The features mentioned below are in addition to the HX 5 variant:

Hyundai Venue’s HX 8 variant sits just below the top model, priced between Rs 13.96 Lakh to Rs 15.39 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This variant is only available with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with both gearbox options. The features mentioned below are in addition to the HX 7 variant:
