Longer Than Venue –

Internationally, the Hyundai Bayon measures 4.18m in length, which is nearly 180mm longer than the Hyundai Venue. Earlier, we expected that Hyundai might bring the SUV and position it as a sub-4m model in its lineup; however, the latest industry reports suggest that it might not play around with the length and instead bring the internationally available model to India.
That said, the model will be longer than the Hyundai Venue, so we expect more cabin space, with a better wheelbase. It can be a perfect choice for someone looking who wants an upgrade over the Venue but does not want to spend much for the Creta.

Styling –

The Hyundai Bayon doesn’t follow a boxy design like its siblings, the Venue and the Creta. It is a proper crossover model, without compromising the space. As many models in the mid-size SUV segment feature a boxy look, the Bayon might serve as a differentiator.

The Hyundai Bayon is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine. Now, industry reports have confirmed that Hyundai will offer a dual-cylinder HyCNG option for the model. We expect the CNG option to be offered with the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine. Now, as the model is slightly longer than the sub-4m segment, Hyundai could also consider introducing the 1.5-litre mill or a mild-hybrid in this model going forward; however, whether it gets it will be revealed as we near its launch.
