Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spied Up Close, New Details Emerge

The Himalayan 750 is likely to launch by March 2027 in the Indian market as it will break cover at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy

We recently told you that Royal Enfield has earmarked five all-new motorcycles for launch in FY27 in the Indian market. The Himalayan 750 is one of these models which will be launched in India by March 2027. Recently, it was spied up close on a highway in Tamil Nadu with the rider standing on the bike and performing “saddling” which is quite common for the motorcycling community during long distance journeys to avoid tiredness. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is confirmed to have its world premiere at the EICMA 2026 later this year in Italy.

The company had showcased the Himalayan 750 in concept form at the EICMA 2025. However, CEO of Royal Enfield, B Govindarajan was quick to state that the concept version of the adventure motorcycle needs more testing time before entering the production. The entire top brass of RE, including Govindarajan, was spotted in Ladakh, the spiritual home of the brand, with multiple test units of the Himalayan 750 last year.

The Himalayan 750 will be an adventure tourer and hence saddling is considered as one of the most important aspects of the ADV bike. The spy images also reveal the rear-set footpegs for achieving the perfect balance between comfort and sporty ergonomics. The Himalayan 750 will also be rolled out with adjustable suspension setup as USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers.

The stopping power will be supplied by dual disc brakes at front (a first for any RE motorcycle till date) and single disc at the rear. A few other notable styling elements expected onboard the adventure bike could be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and front windscreen.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is likely to carry the round Tripper Dash TFT instrument cluster with Google Maps integration for turn-by-turn navigation. It will also come with all-LED lighting setup as the headlamp, turn indicators and tail-lamp units will get LED lights. We can also expect a USB Type-C charging socket, Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity, music controls and tubeless tyres.

At the heart, it will house a newly-developed 750cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which could develop top power of around 55-60 bhp and highest torque of approx. 60-65 Nm. The engine will be paired to the same 6-speed gearbox, albeit with a partial retuning to support the heavier weight of the Himalayan 750. Stay tuned to this page for more info on the Himalayan 750.
