Mahindra XEV 9S Teased

Mahindra doesn’t want to leave anything behind that can kill the hype of its upcoming 7-seater. For a long time, the Indian automaker has been teasing the SUV by showcasing bits of design cues or features. This time yet again, Mahindra has revealed a new feature – rear entertainment screens included on the upcoming 7-seater. The rear entertainment screen is expected to run on the same OS as the front screens along with the same functionality.

We have already seen a pile of features making its way on the SUV, and now this segment-first feature is also confirmed. With that, we can eventually say, it will be going to be a tech-loaded SUV!

More Features

This 7-seater will be positioned above the XEV 9e in the brand’s lineup. So, on the inside, along with this five screen setup, some other features include Harman Kardon speakers, Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, powered front seats, sliding and reclining rear seats and more in its package. 

Moreover, the automaker has also revealed that this 3-row SUV will have enough frunk and boot space to fit your large suitcases.

What Else?

The upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S will be underpinned by the brand’s INGLO platform, currently supporting the XEV 9e and BE 6. The brand is yet to reveal the battery pack details, however, we expect 59kWh and 79kWh packs to be continued. If Mahindra wants to make things interesting, this 3-row SUV can see the inclusion of AWD configurations.

Regarding pricing, we expect the model to be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 35 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
