Maruti Brezza Facelift

In a video on Instagram, the Brezza was being tested in disguised form, suggesting a facelift of the SUV. The Brezza facelift has been long overdue, as it misses out on many features that are offered by its rivals. Following the images of the test mule, we can expect the Brezza to get a slew of new features. Features include:
- Level 2 ADAS
- A larger touchscreen
- Powered driver seat
- Ventilated front seats
- Digital instrument cluster
Apart from these features, Maruti could also tweak the interior to give it a slightly more premium touch. Design-wise, we can expect a few changes to the front and rear bumpers, a new alloy wheel design, cosmetic changes to the headlights and taillights and a few more. However, one of the key changes that we expect in the Brezza facelift is the underbody CNG tank. Debuted with the new Victoris, we do expect Maruti to offer it in the Brezza, considering the demand for CNG with the SUV.

The underbody CNG tank will add to the practicality of the Brezza, putting up a tougher fight against the likes of the Nexon iCNG. Rumours suggest that Maruti may also offer a series hybrid engine with the Brezza facelift, which will be first introduced in the Fronx. We can expect Maruti to launch the Brezza facelift in the latter half of 2026. In terms of pricing, we can expect the base price to only increase slightly while the higher trims could experience a bigger hike in price, if ADAS is offered.

What Else?

The existing Maruti Brezza gets a slew of features like a 9-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, an electric sunroof, automatic climate control and much more. Under the hood is a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine producing 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. It is also offered with a CNG option. Currently, the Brezza carries a price tag ranging from Rs 9.72 Lakh to Rs 15.44 Lakh.
