Yamaha India has launched a new colour scheme for the XSR155 in the form of Metallic Black at price point of Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. The retro-styled bike debuted in Nov 2025 in the Indian market. The Black body colour is complimented by golden-colored USD front forks. With this new paint shade, Yamaha XSR155 will now be available in a total of five colourways namely Metallic Blue (Rs 1.50 lakh), Vivid Red (Rs 1.53 lakh), Metallic Grey (Rs 1.57 lakh) and Greyish Green Metallic (Rs 1.59 lakh).
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group, said: “At Yamaha, innovation is driven by emotion and shaped by our riders. The introduction of the Metallic Black XSR155 is not just about a new colour — it is about deepening our connection with riders who seek individuality, performance, and styling in one compelling package.”
Riding on 17-inch wheels, Yamaha XSR155 comes with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of linked-type monocross rear suspension, Assist and slipper clutch, Dual-channel ABS and Traction control. The modern retro roadster is built around Yamaha’s proven Deltabox frame. The Japanese brand has rolled out two accessory packages with the bike namely Scrambler and Café Racer.

Some of the notable design highlights include round LED headlight, teardrop fuel tank, aluminium swing arm and LED tail-lamp cluster. It gets the traditional LCD instrument cluster as standard. Equipped with a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), the XSR155 has max power output of 18.1 bhp and peak torque delivery of 14.2 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox.
Talking about the Scrambler accessory kit, it comes with 9 components to further accentuate the overall appearance of the bike at additional cost of Rs 24,850. The buyers get fly screen, bar end mirrors, adjustable levers, side radiator guard, knee pads, seat cover, side number plate, headlight cover and license plate holder as a part of this customization package.

As for the XSR155 Cafe-Racer Kit, it consists of a total of 6 accessories while priced relatively higher at Rs 28,180. The customers can avail cafe headlight cowl, adjustable levers, side radiator guard, side panel cover in silver finish, dual seat assy with hump, and license plate holder in this customization package.
