TVS RTX 300 – Affordability

TVS has nailed it with pricing, the top-most BTO version of this model is available under Rs 3 lakh! That’s enough to make some young riders turn to it – we have heard many KTM ADV 250 buyers turn towards it, and also some of the KTM 390 ADV X buyers too. Many new buyers suddenly started seeing this as their first bike option, and it is too.

Giving Everything

Currently, the adventure bikes in India under the 200cc to 300cc segments lack many things. And here TVS has taken an advantage – even the base trim of the model offers features like cruise control, riding modes, traction control, ABS switch. While the top trim is even more loaded with features like variable intensity headlamp, map mirroring, bi-directional quick shifter over the base trim. And the BTO (built to order) trim includes adjustable front and rear suspension, TPMS monitor and brass coated chain.

Looks

We always say that looks are subjective, but who doesn’t like a big bike look? The TVS RTX design doesn’t make it seem like a 300cc model, but more like a 800-900cc adventure motorcycle. It looks huge – from the front, rear or side, it’s a perfect head-turner. Also thanks to TVS for not copying, giving a center projector headlamp unit like the other brands, and instead offering a viewable headlamp unit.

With the RTX, TVS has tried to up the game in the adventure segment. While it is one of the best bikes from the brochure perspective, the refinement of the engine will be something which we should look out for. The two-wheeler manufacturer has offered a new 300cc engine with the RTX 300. 

Moreover, just some time after its launch, there were many buyers taking to the internet saying there has been no communication from the brand regarding the deliveries. However, the brand has now started with deliveries in some parts of the country. So, if you have booked the model and are waiting for a response, the brand will soon communicate with you confirming the delivery status.
