Tata Sierra ROQ Edition!

Well, the adventure-ready SUV showcased by Tata was none other than the Sierra ROQ Edition. The ROQ Edition brings in a slew of cosmetic and functional upgrades that make the Sierra a much more capable SUV for adventures and even camping. Starting off with cosmetic upgrades, the ROQ Edition gets:

• New front bumper with Sierra badging (Tata Logo deleted)
• Cladding on the bumper
• Chunky wheel arch cladding 
• Footpad element on the hood
• Graphics on the B-pillar 
• Matte black decal extending from the rear window to the end of the car
• Cladding on the boot with Sierra badging
• Chunky cladding on the rear bumper

These cosmetic upgrades will set you back by around Rs 50,000. While these additions are to enhance the Sierra’s aesthetics, Tata has also offered a slew of other enhancements that are actually quite functional. These include:

• Tow hitch
• Metallic roof rack
• Foldable ladder on C-pillar
• Foot step
• Neck cushions for front-row seats
• Seats in the boot with cupholders

What Else?

While Tata has not revealed the prices for all of these accessories, the roof rack and the ladder cost around Rs 1 Lakh. But, Tata did not stop there. The brand has offered a few more accessories that could come in very handy during an adventure, especially when you need to camp out. These include:

• Tent
• Chair 
• Coffee Maker
• Microwave oven
• Premium cups that fit the cup-holders

All these accessories give the SUV a rugged makeover while adding some more functionality. So, would you get these accessories for your new Sierra?

Specs And Features

Apart from these accessories, the Sierra is one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its segment. Features include a triple screen setup, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, a massive panoramic sunroof and the list goes on. Powertrain-wise, the Sierra gets 3 engine options: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (104bhp & 145Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel engine (116bhp & 280Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (158bhp & 255Nm). As of now, Tata has only revealed the base price of the Sierra: Rs 13.66 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
