Upcoming Simple Family Electric Scooter Spied Testing

The new Simple family e-scooter, likely to be called Arrive, will be launched around the festive season of Diwali in Oct 2026 in India

Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based all-electric brand, has been working on a family scooter to take on Ather Rizta in the Indian market. Now, it has been spotted testing for the first time ahead of its official launch in the later half of 2026. A few media reports claim that the upcoming Simple family electric scooter could be christened as ‘Arrive’ in India. The company had recently launched the updated version of the OneS e-scooter in the country.

The spy images reveal that Simple has taken a different design approach for the family e-scooter, which is a radical departure from its angular and sharp styling language. Simple Arrive is likely to get a more traditional design with a single-piece seat and a centre stand. The upcoming Simple electric scooter will be quite different from the One range in terms of equipment as it will boast of dual shock absorbers as rear suspension.

In addition, the spy pics show a shroud on the right side of the electric motor. The headlamp assembly is mounted on the front apron while it also gets a small windscreen. The rear profile features the tail-lamp cluster in a sleek strip pattern, which is pretty identical to the TVS Orbiter and Ather Rizta. Simple Arrive will also carry a storage cubby and a TFT dash.

Simple One and Simple OneS are powered by 5 kWh and 3.7 kWh battery packs as standard. It is not confirmed whether the company will use either of the aforementioned batteries in the Arrive family scooter or opt for an all-new unit designed and developed specifically for this family scooter. We feel that a 3.7 kWh battery pack with a range of 120-130 km on a single charge would be adequate for the customers.

Simple Arrive family e-scooter will come with a front disc and rear drum brake as standard. This braking setup looks quite odd as even the budget-friendly OneS electric scooter gets disc brakes at both ends as standard fitment. It is likely that the spied unit is an entry-level trim of the Arrive and higher variants could be rolled out with front and rear disc brakes.

Simple Arrive rides on the similar wheel setup as the One electric scooter in the form of 12-inch front and rear units. It is learnt that the family electric scooter will use the same tyre size as well. The company has not spilled any beans on the Arrive so far and we expect to get more details regarding the e-scooter in the coming months.
