Also, it is worth noting that the Mahindra 7-seater can be opted with AWD, while the Safari does not get it.
Overall, the competition is going to be full of excitement with the launch of XUV 7XO on the 5th of January 2026. Currently, the XUV700 is priced between Rs 16.50 lakh & Rs 30.65 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With a facelift, the prices are expected to see a hike by up to Rs 70,000. On the other hand, the Safari diesel is priced between Rs 17.50 lakh & Rs 30.97 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). But soon, with the official launch of the petrol Safari, the prices should come down!
