Mahindra Brought Back The Batmobile!

Haven’t you guessed it by now? Yes, we are talking about the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition. Mahindra has reopened bookings for the special-edition BE 6, which sold out in just 7 minutes. This represents the growing popularity of EVs in the Indian market! What’s so special about it, and why are people crazy for this electric SUV?

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Sold Out!

Back in 2025, Mahindra planned to introduce only 300 units of the unique SUV. But people seem to love this concept and have responded extraordinarily. Following that, this Indian automaker further increased the number of units to 999. And recently, on 10th March 2026, the brand reopened bookings for the second lot of this special edition. Within 7 minutes, all 999 units were booked. What does this unique Mahindra have to offer??

Exterior 

This special Indian Batmobile is based on the BE 6 top-spec Pack 3 trim. What makes it stand out is the custom satin black colour. As it is inspired by the ‘Dark Knight Trilogy’, you can see Batman-themed decals on the front doors, Bat emblems on the hub caps, front quarter panels, and rear bumpers. It also gets gold-painted suspension springs and brake callipers. On top of this BE 6 Batman Edition roof features the Bat emblem as well.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Interiors 

Inside this Batmobile, same fighter-jet-like cabin as the one we see on the regular BE 6. But with some special elements like the Formula car-inspired Halo painted in alchemy gold, Batman branding on the boost button, seats, dashboard, and, not to forget, the roof. It features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that also displays a Batman welcome animation. In addition to these features, like ventilated and powered front seats, wireless chargers, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and dual-zone climate control. For driver assistance, Mahindra also offers ADAS Level 2 and a 360-degree parking camera.

Powertrain

This SUV is based on the Pack 3 BE6, which features a 79-kWh battery pack. Making it capable enough to produce 282bhp and 380Nm, which is even higher than the Scorpio N. Also, all the power is transferred to the rear wheels, since it comes in an RWD configuration, which means this SUV can drift! Not just high-performance, it also comes with a claimed range of 683km.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Pricing

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is currently priced at Rs 30.27 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and the regular Pack 3 BE 6 is priced at Rs 28.58 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The price of the Batman edition has been Rs 70,000 over the last year, and the price gap between this special edition and the base BE 6 is about Rs 9.59 lakh.
