TVS two-wheeler sales in domestic and international markets witnessed massive growth as volumes reached to a new high in Feb 2026
TVS Motor Company has registered sales of 529,308 units in February 2026 which includes both two-wheeler and three-wheeler models. It posted YoY sales growth of 31 percent as 403,976 units were retailed during the same month last year. The biggest highlight for TVS in Feb 2026 was record-breaking sales of 1.58 lakh units in the export business. In addition, the domestic two-wheeler sales, individual motorcycle and scooter sales, and EV sales also surged by decent margins in Feb 2026 as total numbers surpassed the 5 lakh mark.
Starting with overall two-wheeler sales, it increased from 391,889 units in February 2025 to 507,862 units in February 2026 with a YoY growth of 30 percent. The domestic volumes also grew 276,072 units in February 2025 to 365,471 units in February 2026 on a 32 percent YoY basis. The EV sales surged from 24,017 units in February 2025 to 38,386 units in February 2026 with a YoY growth of 60 percent.
Coming to the motorcycle segment, TVS sold 241,282 units in February 2026 which is up from 192,960 units during the same month last year with a YoY growth of 25 percent. As for scooters, the YoY sales growth was even higher at 34 percent in Feb 2026 as 219,895 units were sold against 164,415 units in Feb 2025. The diverse portfolio and presence across every major segment helped the brand in achieving this growth.

The three-wheeler business reported the highest YoY sales growth of 77 percent with volumes increasing from 12,087 units in February 2025 to 21,446 units in February 2026. The company’s export business, as mentioned before too, recorded highest-ever volumes at 158,268 units in February 2026. It had shipped 124,993 units of made-in-India two-wheelers and three-wheelers in February 2025.
The total two-wheeler exports stood at 142,391 units in February 2026 as they grew by 23 percent on a YoY basis. TVS had transported 115,817 scooters and motorcycles from India in Feb 2025. In the last couple of years, the Hosur-based company has witnessed unprecedented growth in domestic as well as international business, fuelled by the massive demand for new models.

Last year, TVS had introduced several new models across various segments. This includes the Ntorq 150, a high-performance scooter, to rival Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160. In addition, the company rolled out its first sub Rs 1 lakh electric scooter in the form of the Orbiter for mass-market e2w segment, aimed at Bajaj Chetak and Hero Vida VX2. The brand also forayed into the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment with the RTX 300 against KTM 250 Adventure and Suzuki V-Strom SX.
