Top 10 SUVs In India – 10. Maruti Brezza

Shockingly, the 10th position has been secured by an SUV that was once in the top 3. We are talking about the Maruti Brezza. In October 2025, Maruti sold 12,072 units of the Brezza. Unlike its competitors, the Brezza could not benefit from GST 2.0 – thanks to its 1.5-litre NA petrol engine. That said, the SUV is currently priced between Rs 9.72 lakh & Rs 15.44 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

9. Mahindra XUV 3XO

The 9th position has been secured by Mahindra XUV 3XO! Talking of which, Mahindra sold 12,237 units of the XUV 3XO in the last month. It is one of the most spacious, powerful & tech-loaded SUVs in the segment. In terms of pricing, the XUV 3XO is priced between Rs 8.63 lakh & Rs 17.19 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Top 10 SUVs In India – 8. Kia Sonet

Moving to the 8th position, we have the Kia Sonet. Kia’s most affordable SUV in India sold 12,745 units in October 2025. Although not the most spacious in the segment, the Sonet is the only SUV, after the recently launched Hyundai Venue, to offer a torque converter automatic gearbox with the diesel engine! Having said that, the reliable SUV is currently priced between Rs 8.58 lakh & Rs 16.97 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

7. Maruti Victoris

The 7th spot has been secured by the recently launched Maruti Victoris! It was launched at the end of September 2025 & quickly earned the 7th spot in October. Talking of which, Maruti sold 13,496 units of the Victoris in the previous month. And yes, it is the most feature-rich & tech-loaded Maruti SUV. Also, the Victoris currently has the title of India’s safest SUV. Maruti’s latest entrant is priced between Rs 12.50 lakh & Rs 23.64 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Top 10 SUVs In India – 6. Mahindra Bolero

One of the oldest nameplates is still doing respectable sales! Mahindra Bolero Classic & the Bolero Neo have together posted 14,343 sales for the brand in October 2025. Both these 7-seaters have recently received minor but much-needed facelifts. The cult-classic Bolero is priced between Rs 9.54 lakh & Rs 11.56 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, the Bolero Neo is priced between Rs 10.16 lakh & Rs 12.71 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

5. Tata Punch

Tata’s game-changer SUV has successfully secured the 5th position in today’s list. Both the Punch petrol & the Punch.ev, together made a sale of 16,810 units of its most affordable SUVs in October 2025. That said, the figures are expected to improve with the upcoming facelift of the Punch petrol. If you are planning to buy one today, the Punch petrol is priced between Rs 6.39 lakh & Rs 10.62 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The electrified version is available between Rs 10.39 lakh & Rs 15.31 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Top 10 SUVs In India – 4. Maruti Fronx 

In the 4th spot, we have the Maruti Fronx, which made sales of 17,003 units. The Fronx is one of the stylish-looking & feature-rich Maruti SUVs. Also, it is the only Maruti SUV today to offer a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Having said that, the Fronx is currently priced between Rs 7.97 lakh & Rs 14.03 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

3. Mahindra Scorpio

The 3rd position on the list has been secured by another Mahindra duo – the Scorpio Classic & the Scorpio N! Again, India’s one of the oldest nameplates is driving strong sales for the brand. Talking of which, both these SUVs together posted sales of 17,880 units.  Currently, the Classic – with old-school design, is priced between Rs 15.85 lakh & Rs 20.33 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, the modern N model is priced between Rs 15.85 lakh & Rs 29.46 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Top 10 SUVs In India – 2. Hyundai Creta

India’s first choice of SUVs has secured the 2nd spot for the second consecutive month! In October 2025, Hyundai successfully sold 18,381 units of the Creta! Buyers prefer Creta for its reliability, comfortable ride quality, refined engines, low maintenance, and advanced features & technology. The SUV is priced between Rs 12.77 lakh & Rs 24.50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

1. Tata Nexon

The SUV, which has been a trouble for multiple other SUVs, has again proved its worth! For the second consecutive month, the Tata Nexon has emerged as the best-selling car & SUV for October 2025! With 22,083 combined sales units of the Nexon ICE & Nexon.ev, the SUV has secured the top position. The Nexon is popular for its features, space, safety & reliability. The ICE version is currently priced between Rs 8.44 lakh & Rs 17.06 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, the EV model is priced between Rs 13.22 lakh & Rs 18.56 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
