What Actually Happened?

We came across a video of a Tata Harrier that crashed into a billboard. The host mentioned that the billboard weighs about 1000kg. And further, he adds that Harrier has dragged the rigidly mounted billboard for about 25 to 30 meters. With this data, he predicted that Harrier might be travelling at 120 km/hr before hitting the billboard.

From visuals, it can be seen that the billboard is not only misplaced but also shows a bend due to impact. The vehicle has sustained severe damage to the front end, with the grille being destroyed and the cooling system penetrated, resulting in coolant leakage. We can also see some fluid trails on the road, which might be engine oil, suggesting engine damage. Not just the front end, the misplaced and bent billboard has been resting on top of the car, also damaging the top.
Are Occupants Safe?…
The cabin remained pretty much intact even after the brutal crash. What about the occupants? The vlogger mentions that there is not much harm to the occupants or anyone else involved in the incident.
What About The Safety?

The Harrier involved in the crash is a post facelift model. This SUV scored 5 stars at Bharat NCAP, with a score of 30.08 out of 32 for Adult safety. It comes equipped with safety features, including 6 airbags, standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring. Along with this robust chassis build, it has saved the lives of its occupants.
The NCAP safety rating matters and can save you in the event of an accident. But it’s always better to avoid such incidents by driving responsibly and following traffic rules.
