The Slavia is quite an impressive sedan with a great deal of features and performance that could make you smile every single time. And now, a facelift version seems to be in the works. A while ago, Skoda announced that it would be launching 2 cars on January 19 and 20, 2026, as part of a Skoda Experience 2026 event. So, it would be safe to assume that the Slavia facelift could be one of those. That aside, the recent spy shots of the facelift do reveal a few key details like a new alloy wheel design, a redesigned front bumper with a unique pattern on the bumper and a few slight tweaks to the DRLs and headlights

We do expect Skoda to keep the majority of details unchanged with the facelift, like the side profile, the rear profile and the front profile to some extent. The grille, ORVMs, and the overall silhouette seem to be the same. But Skoda may slightly tweak the taillights. That said, Skoda knows how to design cars, and we feel that the Slavia facelift will remain the beauty it is. However, the major changes of the facelift will likely be on the features front. Skoda may offer new features like a Level 2 ADAS suite, a larger infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, and a few more. But what about the engines?

Well, the engine options will likely remain the same. Until now, the highlight of the Slavia has been its two powerful engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (114bhp & 178Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (148bhp & 250Nm). So, it is safe to say that Skoda will not make any changes to the engine. The performance on tap in Skoda-VW cars has been phenomenal, and we expect that factor to remain as it is. We could expect the facelift to get a price increase of around Rs 1 Lakh on the top-spec trims over the existing prices. The Slavia is priced between Rs 11.86 Lakh and Rs 21.26 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
