Skoda Kushaq Facelift Price 12 Lakhs* Expected Launch 2026

Skoda has seen a decline in Kushaq sales after the introduction of Kylaq, due to the price gap between the two; the best-selling and most value-for-money variants of the Kylaq are slightly cheaper than the Kushaq’s base trim. The Kylaq adds more value to the customers than the Kushaq. To boost Kushaq sales, Skoda is planning a facelift for the Kushaq. The Skoda Kushaq has received certain special editions with minor changes before, but not a facelift. And with the test mules being spotted, here is what we might expect from the facelifted Skoda Kushaq.

Key Details

From the camouflaged test mule, it can be identified that there will be some revisions to the front bumper, grille, and headlamp, with some changes in the rear end as well, featuring a refreshed spoiler, and Skoda might introduce the connected tail lamp as well, giving the rear end a sharper look. A few test mules have been seen with a revised alloy wheel design.

Some much-needed changes are expected in the interiors as well, including a panoramic sunroof, an updated infotainment system with a 360-degree camera, and the introduction of the Level-2 ADAS system to assist with driving, with features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning.

Powertrain

The powertrain offerings, including the 1L and 1.5L TSI engines, are to be carried forward into the facelifted Kushaq. The 1L produces about 113 HP and 178 Nm of torque, and the 1.5L produces about 147 HP and 250 Nm of torque. The transmission options are the same as before, including a six-speed manual, a six-speed torque-converter automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DSG) (only for the 1.5L engine).

Rivals

The main rival to the Skoda Kushaq in the mid-size SUV class is none other than the Hyundai Creta, which alone clocked around 18,000-plus sales in September 2025. Other rivals in its class include the Volkswagen Taigun, the Kia Seltos, and the hybrids, such as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Outside the class, the Skoda Kylaq is also affecting Kushaq sales.

Expected Launch and Pricing

Skoda is expected to launch the facelifted Kushaq by mid-2026. The pricing is slightly higher than the current Kushaq. The intent is to create a gap between Skoda’s own Kylaq variants and the Kushaq. For reference, the current Kushaq price ranges from 12.79 Lakh to 22.13 Lakh (on-road Mumbai).
