Tata Nexon


The Tata Nexon is also one of the highest-selling SUVs, with more than 22,000 units sold in November 2025. It received a facelift in 2023 and is known for its multiple powertrain options, long feature list, and safety. Currently, the Nexon is priced between Rs 9.21 lakh and Rs 17.06 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Further, the monthly EMI ranges from Rs 15,297 for the base Smart MT to Rs 26,528 for the top-of-the-line Fearless + PS DT Diesel AMT. There are two more variants – Dark & Red Dark, both of which charge a premium of Rs 20,000 & Rs 50,000 over the regular top model. That said, the minimum salary required to buy a Tata Nexon should be between Rs 61,000 and Rs 1.06 lakh.

Best Selling SUVs – Tata Punch


The Tata Punch is one of the highest-selling SUVs in the Indian market, beating the mighty Wagon R in 2024. In November 2025, Tata sold 18,753 units of the Punch. The product is known for its safety, reliability, a decent feature list and an option of CNG as well. Currently, the Punch ranges between Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 10.63 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So the monthly EMI ranges from Rs 10,517 for the base Pure MT to Rs 17,670 for the top-of-the-line Creative+ S AMT Camo Edition. So the monthly salary should range between Rs 42,000 and Rs 70,000, respectively.

Hyundai Creta


The Hyundai Creta ranks as the 3rd best-selling SUV in November 2025 with a sale of 17,344 units. The factors that go in favour of the Creta are its bold design, multiple powertrains and gearbox options. And not to forget its long list of features. Currently, the Creta is priced between Rs 12.77 lakh and Rs 24.50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Further, the EMI of the Creta should range from Rs 20,510 for the base E petrol MT variant to Rs 38,624 for the fully loaded Knight Edition Diesel AT. The minimum salary range should be between Rs 82,000 and Rs 1.54 lakh.

Best Selling SUVs – Mahindra Scorpio N


The Mahindra Scorpio N has also been one of the highly demanded cars in the Indian market. Last month, Mahindra sold 15,616 units of the Scorpio N. The SUV is known for its tough looks, safety and commanding position. Currently, the Scorpio N is priced between Rs 15.86 lakh and Rs 29.49 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). In terms of monthly EMI, it ranges from Rs 25,245 for the entry-level Z2 7-seater Petrol MT to Rs 46,226 for the fully loaded Z8 L 4×4 Diesel AT Carbon Edition. The minimum salary range should be between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh.

Maruti Fronx


The only Maruti SUV on the list is the Fronx. Maruti’s popular SUV is known for its mileage, a decent feature list, and the option of CNG. With the help of these factors, Maruti sold 15,058 units of the Fronx in November 2025. Further, the model comes powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, which provides decent performance but is high on mileage. On the other hand, the Fronx is the only Maruti to offer a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Currently, the Maruti Fronx is priced between Rs 8.01 lakh and Rs 14.09 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). In terms of monthly EMI, it ranges from Rs 13,096 for the Sigma MT variant to Rs 22,906 for the top Alpha AT dual-tone. The minimum salary should range between Rs 52,000 and Rs 91,600.
