Hyundai Verna Facelift!

If you guessed it correctly, bravo! The Hyundai Verna is one of Hyundai’s only cars to get a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP. The facelift of this sedan has been spotted multiple times during testing. And the latest spy shots are now clearer, giving us a peek into the updates. In the spy shots, it is quite evident that the Verna facelift will have vertically stacked headlamps instead of the existing horizontal orientation. Along with that, Hyundai may revise the design of the front and rear bumpers and the LED DRLs. The spy shots also reveal a new alloy wheel design that will make it onto the Verna facelift. Moreover, Hyundai may slightly tweak the taillamps of the sedan as part of the update.

Older spy shots have given us a glimpse of what the interior could look like in the facelift. Hyundai may offer the new steering wheel design seen in the recently launched Hyundai Venue. Moreover, the Verna facelift could also borrow the new dual 12.3-inch screen setup from the new Venue. We could get to see a revised interior layout with better quality materials. Apart from these changes, we expect the Verna to retain the rest of the features. These include an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, heated and ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control system, and much more. We expect Hyundai to launch the Verna facelift in the first half of 2026.

What Else?

Apart from the cosmetic and feature upgrades, we expect the Verna facelift to undergo no changes in the powertrain department. The Verna gets 2 engine options: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (114bhp & 144Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (158bhp & 253Nm). Currently, the Verna carries a price tag ranging from Rs 12.73 Lakh to Rs 20.12 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With the facelift, we expect Hyundai to price the Verna between Rs 13 Lakh and Rs 21.50 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
