Honda Amaze Safety

Well, most of you must have guessed it right. It is none other than the Honda Amaze, the brand’s safest and most affordable car in India. Previously, the compact sedan was tested in Global NCAP, where it managed only a 2-star safety rating. However, the Honda Amaze has now managed to achieve a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP, giving it another chance to take on its arch-rival, the Maruti Dzire. We say it is safer than Tata because its rival, the Tata Tigor, has only managed a 4-star safety rating. The sedan has scored an Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) score of 28.33 out of 32 points (5 stars). In the Child Occupant Protection (COP) score, the Amaze scored 40.81 out of 49 points (4 stars). In comparison, the Dzire has scored 29.46 points out of 32 in AOP and 41.57 points out of 49 in COP. Nevertheless, the Amaze can compete on a level playing field with the Dzire. So, what else does the Amaze have to offer?

The Honda Amaze is a comfortable and spacious sedan with a decent amount of features. Features include Honda Sensing ADAS, an 8-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, wireless charger, air purifier, automatic climate control, and much more. Under the hood is a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque, along with either a 5-speed MT or a CVT. The sedan carries a price tag ranging from Rs 8.80 Lakh to Rs 11.75 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), making it the cheapest yet safest Honda in India.
